1) Vallisaari island and Helsinki Biennial art exhibition
Vallisaari island of natural beauty hosts world acclaimed art/nature exhibition called Helsinki Biennial. The island itself is tranquil (apart from exhibition visitors that usually respect the peaceful nature of the place) and lush national park reserve with guided paths through it. The art exhibition portrays environmentally conscious artworks placed along the beautiful nature paths and buildings. Even though the location’s main showcase is nature, the exhibition is expecting around 170.000 visitors this summer.
